Woodland fairy 5th birthday
OK, we know this is a 5th birthday party and all, but wouldn’t those hanging ferns make pretty great home decor? The birthday fairy Taylor loves Tinkerbell so Gloria Wong Design went all out with the woodland theme. She + Jeanne of Shop Sweet Things also just launched their party line Harlow & Grey, so take a peek if you’re on the market for super cute party supplies. Onto the festivities!
They gathered all 30 of Taylor’s preschool friends and called it “fairies & critters”. Gloria made tutus from tulle, crowns, ribbon wands, wings, and critter masks too. She says, I love how many of the boys decided to wear floral crowns and fairy wings, and how many of the girls wanted critter masks! The kids painted their own. I offered paint colors that would tie in with the rest of the party. Different shades of green, coral, brown, and gold.
That fairy garden spread included mushroom toadstool cupcakes AKA white frosting melted with food coloring and upside down white chocolate chips and acorn treats made from Hershey’s kisses, Nilla wafers, chocolate chips, and frosting. Genius.
Naturally the whole scene was completed with gold spray painted unicorns.
LOVE us a good theme!
The gold and pink paper cups and plates are just a couple of supplies up for grabs at Harlow & Grey.
