Unicorn birthday party
What do you do when you have a week and a half to plan your babe’s birthday party? If you’re Nikki of Jeadore Blogger, you get real creative. With Immi’s dad coming back from a long trip, they didn’t plan to throw a party, but sometimes you just gotta whip out the unicorns and make it happen, ya know?
Framed artwork, check! Nikki used a white foam board with a black marker to draw the unicorn, then added foliage and put it in a Target frame she spray painted gold.
I asked Immi what she wanted it to be, and she said Unicorn and Red Bull, from the old 80′s movie The Last Unicorn. So, since we had such little time, I had to use what we had around the house… and/or could find or get super quick. When buying or making stuff for her party I wanted to incorporate items that we could reuse for her room (the 3D flower/unicorn, and the flower lights from BHLDN).
This gorgeous cake? Whipped up from the box, decorated with edible flowers from Terrain, and topped with painted unicorns they already had.
She added faux flowers and greenery to this macrame hanging from Urban Outfitters they used as a backdrop too.
Yeeeeah, we’d say she pulled it off. So amazing!
