Pow wow party for sisters
Kelly Kriger is the owner of Whatchawant Design, and momma to Ella and Addy – the two sisters we’re celebrating today. She just so happens to live a few doors down from Angela Marie Events, so when it came to planning her girls’ “oh-so-boho pow wow”, there was no question she wanted to collaborate with Angela’s styling & coordinating skills. Carolynn Seibert, thanks for hanging out with 40+ kids on a Sunday afternoon to capture some of the fun!
Did you ever make sand art with glass bottles as kids? That’s what the above station is for. Each of those bottles is actually filled with colored sand.
Instead of your typical guest book, Kelly used dreamcatchers. She cut various sizes and shapes of feathers out of card stock and asked guests to write their dreams for Ella and Addy on them. Using washi tape, guests attached their special note for Ella onto the mint dreamcatcher and for Addy onto the pink one. After the party, they were hung in each of their rooms!
All the little girls wore mis-matched white dresses from Gap and Old Navy.
They really are super lucky that they get to celebrate their birthdays together, aren’t they? And that cake, is simply perfect!
So happy the creative folks below got together to create this party!
