Since a lot of your kiddos might still be on spring break, we thought we’d remind you that there is still time to call up a few little friends to recreate a playdate as adorable & fun as this one, styled by Tickled Pink Brides, and photographed by By The Robinsons.
Don’t think you have time to send out a cute little invite like this one? We got you covered. At the bottom of this post Ashley Brooke Designs has graciously offered a free digital download of her design!
They dyed their eggs naturally using spinach, beets, blueberries, and paprika. But you can really use anything you have lying around the house… coffee, ground turmeric, etc. You can follow along with this tutorial or this one is helpful too.
Since the dye is basically just vegetable water you don’t have to worry about them sticking their hands in it.
By taking the kids to a local petting zoo and farmer’s market they were able to spend some time with the animals and were able buy local, cage free, organic eggs for dyeing the eggs naturally.
They let the eggs sit in the jars for about 10 minutes and then took them out to reveal the beautifully natural pastel shades!
Such a sweet idea for a playdate, isn’t it? Don’t forget to download the invite files here!
